Central Region:

Carla Beck

Jackie Brown

Carla graduated from WRAP Facilitator training in July 2006.  She is also a CELT graduate.  She is currently facilitating at Chesterfield Mental Health and Chester House.  She is one of the founders of Friends 4 Recovery a support group in Chesterfield.  Carla is also the mother of two beautiful children and the wife of a very supportive husband of 16 years.  She enjoys exercising, gardening, reading, writing and spending time with her family.
Betsy graduated WRAP Facilitator training in August 2005. 

She has been a staff member since 1998 at a clubhouse where she has facilitated recovery and self-advocacy groups.

Jackie graduated from WRAP Facilitator Training in October 2004. She is also a CELT graduate. 

Jackie works for the Community Services Board in Richmond. 

Julie Carlson

Maryalyce Poole

Julie graduated WRAP Facilitator training in July 2006.  She is a Certified Nursing Assistant.  Kathy graduated WRAP Facilitator training in August 2005. 

She has a Bachelors and Masters in Psychology and is in the process of earning her Doctorate at VCU.  She is also on staff at DMHMRSAS in Richmond.

Maryalyce graduated from WRAP Facilitator Training in October 2004. 

She was a founding member of the first Bipolar support group in Richmond, Virginia.  She facilitated that group for 6 years and served on the board for several years.

She gives guest talks each year on subjects such as Humor and Healing, Building Blocks to Recovery, Traveling with your Illness, The Christmas Hassle and The Three H's: Hassle, Huddle, Handle.

Maryalyce conducts ecumenical worship services twice a month at St. Mary's Hospital's Behavioral Health floor, engaging the peers during the service.

For 15 years, she has gone to the Virginia General Assembly as an advocate for those who are mentally ill and are unable to speak for themselves.

Eric Sturgell

Todd Yeatman

Janet graduated WRAP Facilitator training in August 2005.  She is also a CELT graduate.

She has been facilitating Jail Diversion groups in Chesterfield County. 

Eric graduated from WRAP Facilitator Training in October 2006. 

He is facilitating in Chesterfield County.

Todd graduated from WRAP Facilitator Training in October 2004.  He and Maryalyce team-lead WRAP groups in the Southern Richmond area.
