Kathy graduated WRAP Facilitator training in
August 2005.
She has a Bachelors and Masters in Psychology
and is in the process of earning her Doctorate
at VCU.
She is also on staff at
DMHMRSAS
in Richmond. |
Maryalyce graduated from
WRAP Facilitator Training in October
2004.
She was a founding member of the first
Bipolar support group in Richmond, Virginia.
She facilitated that group for 6 years and
served on the board for several years.
She gives guest talks each year on subjects
such as Humor and Healing, Building Blocks to
Recovery, Traveling with your Illness, The
Christmas Hassle and The Three H's: Hassle,
Huddle, Handle.
Maryalyce conducts ecumenical worship
services twice a month at St. Mary's Hospital's
Behavioral Health floor, engaging the peers
during the service.
For 15 years, she has gone to the Virginia
General Assembly as an advocate for those who
are mentally ill and are unable to speak for
themselves. |
